    <content type="html">&lt;span style="font-size: small"&gt;Im still recovering from a hectic weekend in New Jersey.It was great to catch up with so many people.The boy was in fine form and looking very well.The theatrical performance was wonderful and had me in tears. Add to this a couple of days in New York and a visit to an outlet mall and it really does not get any better!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;</content>

    <content type="html">&lt;span style="font-size: small"&gt;Well here's an announcement I didnt think I would be making yet .I am going to be a Grandmother,once I had cursed my son for thinking I was old enough to be a Granny I became ridiculously excited.I had a horrible vision of me making a Thatcher like announcement - We are a Grandmother.&lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; The kids have put the scans up on Facebook and are thrilled,but still sensible enough to have already booked me for baby sitting.&lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Just think of the shopping,Grannies dont have to buy the boring everyday stuff,they get to buy the fun stuff.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Roll on August.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;</content>

    <content type="html">Just of to Merseyside for my cousins funeral tomorrow.Thats a sentance I did not expect to be writing,tomorrow is going to be a very difficult day &lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; It reinforces the 'live for today' philosophy&amp;nbsp; - we never know how many more todays we have.&lt;br /&gt;On a practical note I am really not looking forward to the drive up there.</content>

    <content type="html">&lt;em&gt;Wow,didnt realise how long it had been since I updated.&lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Got back from DragonCon on Tuesday morning - exausted but happy.We had a great time,James was looking good,relaxed and in good form.We had a great queueing experience for the party tickets,it was inside,warm,dry and we slept on the floor.We got off the plane,registered and got in the queue,made much easier by the Hilton's 24 hr coffee shop.&lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; I think everyone enjoyed the Party,it was relaxed and informal and I didnt hear a moan from anyone.The whol weekend was great fun and Mary and I will put a full report on the TeamBrit LJ. As we left the hotel to get to the airport,after saying many goodbyes I thought again what a fabulous fandom this is.,and of the wonderful friends I have made and all the fun and laughs we have had together over the years. Long may it continue.&lt;/em&gt;</content>

    <content type="html">&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;I think that I should have stayed in the house all day today.I went to the hairdressers this morning&amp;nbsp; - I couldnt get an appointment will my usual stylist as it is May week ( big formal college balls) so I had to have the creative director&amp;nbsp; -&amp;nbsp; Hah.She turned the top of my hair pinkey red and it took two more goes at colouring it to get it anywhere near normal.Many,many hours later I got out and went to the supermarket on the way home,then it all went really wrong,I ended up on a grass verge looking for a cat that had run out into the road.I stepped on a drainage cover that wasnt fixed and it gave way,trapping my ankle in the drain and the cover came up and whacked my other leg.Embarassing interlude with me trapped in the drain,arse in the air waiting for someone to come and get me out.I wont mention the maggots under the drain cover.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Im now at home with dodgy coloured hair and a bloody painful knee andI'm not in the least bit ready to go of to NJ tomorrow.Next I have to catch my cat and take her to my mothers, the way I'm moving this could take all night.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;</content>

    <content type="html">&lt;em&gt;&lt;font size="4"&gt;I am trying hard to get organised as Team Brit are of to New Jersey on Thursday - yes we are going to a Jamesless Fangoria.Well I dont expect we'll have anything to do with the con but&lt;br /&gt;Manhatten being a ten minute train ride away I suspect we'll find one or two things to do.&lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Typical,we get so organised for Fangoria that when James cancelled we were left with non refundable plane tickets but I think we will have such a good time we will hardly miss the boy.I am looking forward to museums and cultural activities,no shopping ,sightseeing and bars for me - oh no.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/em&gt;</content>

    <content type="html">&amp;nbsp;&lt;em&gt;&lt;font size="4"&gt;Well it seemed such an easy plan,get up,turn computer on,make tea,buy ticket,go back to bed.&lt;br /&gt;Where did it all go wrong - I had a Worldpay confirmation at 0904 but despite two emails to JMLive still no ticket confirmation from them.To complicate things further I yelled down the phone to Mary that I had bought the tickets so she pressed cancel not buy - so now she has a confirmation from JMLive but nothing from Worldpay.Who knows&amp;nbsp;if we will end up with four ,two or no tickets.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/em&gt;</content>

    <content type="html">&lt;em&gt;What a week.I&amp;nbsp; have so enjoyed the clips and photos and thanks to the people who have made this possible.Torchwood and our boy are getting so much publicity the excitement just keeps on building.The press all seem to be giving the show very positive reviews ,The Times today says&amp;nbsp; ' Bursting with snappy dialogue and tremendous monsters............It's good salacious knockabout fun.........how could anyoneobject to a series that begins with a blowfish driving a sports car ' James gets a mention and there is a pretty pic.&lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Now we have the first gig announced squeeeeeeeeeee .Team Brit have their tickets and the good times keep rolling.&lt;/em&gt;</content>

    <content type="html">&amp;nbsp;&lt;em&gt;Well I admit it I am superficial and have a love of the trivial and also SHOES.I hit the sales today and bought a lovely pair of sparkly shoes,not that I have any event on the horizon that I could wear them for,even if I could walk&amp;nbsp; any distance in them - but I dont care - I have new shoes.&lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; It takes my mind off the mundane - like my curtains have fallen down and the cable&amp;nbsp; tv is sick.&lt;/em&gt;</content>

    <content type="html">&amp;nbsp; &lt;em&gt;I think It's very exciting to see all the new Torchwood communities and sites springing up.The fandom needs a shot in the arm of something new.Having said that I will have to wait until the next morning to watch it cause guess what - I'm working.&lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Went to see PSILY last night with 75% of Team Brit,we squeed.Overall not my sort of film,a bit&amp;nbsp; too sweet and sentimental but the guy who played John was good - wouldnt mind seeing a bit more of him!&lt;/em&gt;</content>

Part of me wishes I had no visitors today so that I coul settle down with my new books or the Dr Who boxset! I have the Ex and mother in law coming for Tea - could be tricky.I'm trying to resist the mad impulse to rush out to the sales and buy a new tv ready for Torchwood.
